Psychedelic medicine is proving to be groundbreaking in the field of mental health and healing. These medicines provide “ineffable” experiences that can create paradigm shifts, disruption of limiting beliefs, transformation, and increased connectedness. While there is potential to have big healing experiences, it is crucial to understand what is involved in working in non ordinary states, how you can support someone in that state, what is needed to create safety, and how does this treatment differ from traditional medical treatment of mental health.
In the current atmosphere of psychedelic medicine, ketamine is the legal medicine we have access to use in western medicine. Ketamine can be a powerful tool and catalyst for treatment. Training and experience utilizing this medicine in the healing space is not only essential, but it can also prepare a provider for working with other psychedelic medicines in the future. We are committed to helping providers become adequately trained to work with ketamine.
We believe it is crucial to have personal experience with the psychedelic medicine you are using with clients, in order to fully understand what your client may go through, and in order to provide meaningful support and safety. As a result, our training involves experiential sessions, which will enable all participants to be on both sides of the healing experience.
Our training also has a strong emphasis on ethics, which is of the utmost importance when working in these vulnerable states. We also recognize and accept that there are multiple ways to work with ketamine, which can be beneficial, as long as ethics are upheld. It is important to be familiar with the different techniques, styles, and protocols and to determine which way works best for you.
We choose to work in a relation style, because we believe a large part of the healing experience happens in relationship and because of this we will encourage and foster relationship within our training group. Please be prepared to be in relationship during this training, be fully present, be open to sharing, and be opening to learning more about yourself.
We believe in community and collaboration and encourage participants of all backgrounds (who have a license) to apply to our training. We all bring different skills, knowledge and experience to the table and we want to learn from all of you as well!

The clinical skills to administer ketamine as a provider or in conjunction with a provider
